FBT Universe << News

Hi all,
Ill gone add UnrealUniverse to the servers.
What does it do?
It connects the FBT servers together which means If you are playing on Server 1 and a buddy is on Server 2 then you can pm him from to 2 without changing from server.
You can also go from 1 server to the other in 1 commande like !gothere FBT2
So to have this future you need to make a account on FBT Universe the link i already created on the website and its done in seconds.
Ill add them later today so we will see if this works out nicely.

New servers. << News

Well as we all know we have some difficulty's to keep the servers running properly.That why we decided to get our own Dedicated server after trying a server from i4g.Wanna thx MEDIC for the help and support he gave me sofar.Anyway the server has been ordered and should be running this weekend.This means ip adresses will change but that should not be a big deal since everyone knows us and they know were the site is.I hope this will make a stop to the lag and crashes we had till this time.
Lets hope for the best!

Donations would be welcome again.
I mean how many members do we have?
If we all would donate only like 2 or 3 euro every month we could do so much more.
I heard some would love to have a teamspeak for FBT members only a side to the war teamspeak.I support that idea and ann too.
But it can not be that me and ann and a few people would have to pay for it all!
We have some good times on the server and we try to keep it all up to date as much as we can.I think the last few weeks we did a good job on hackers and cheaters seeing the recs are being normal.
But a bit of support from more members would also be very welcome.

Mover stealing or Boost rec will be not accepted on our servers.For those who still do it and still keep doing it after a warning, will be punisched with a bann.starting from 1 day up to permantly .For those who do not wanna listen will have to fell it otherwise i believe.
So cut the boost rec or face the punischment.

I will not make further payments to the BT server. This server will go offline on 7 december. Also MrPhill wont make further payments to the Insta server. Why? For those members of woot that come to FBT server i hope they have a good time here.
For those lamers i got 1 thing to say lame at my server and be banned.
Me and lady_ann opened a second server as you all might have noticed to be able to handle a bit more players.
I also made the amout a bit lower so we have some more room for the few fast players.
I am also testing a few things to found out why the server crashes.At this point its already taken effect it crashes not so often anymore.I also hope the settings are ok now and when it crashes it will take a different map everytime.(i hope)
So if you want to know anything then be free to post this or ask me or ann.

Tomorrow several of our Windows 2003 servers are going to be upgraded to Windows 2008, this means that these servers will be down for around 30 minutes.
Of course there are a lot of advantages for Windows 2008:
- A lot better security
- A better integration of our Control Panel
Ip address and data will not be lost, this is simple a short downtime of 30 minutes.
This all is going to happen tomorrow between 7.30 AM and 11.00 AM, UTC +1 (Amsterdam local time)
If you have any questions or concerns about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.
